Police Beat for Friday, June 21st, 2013

A 23-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Salem Police for being a child sexual predator in a park.  Michael Pohlman of East Boone was taken to the Marion County Jail following his arrest.  He's also being held on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant.  

Centralia Police arrested two men for disorderly conduct after being called to a fight in the 300 block of North Walnut late Thursday night.  37-year-old John Breeze of North Walnut in Centralia and 19-year-old Elvin Cook of Wamac were allegedly arguing over a $10 debt.  Both were taken to the Marion County Jail.

51-year-old Veronica Smith of Saddler Street in Centralia remained in jail Friday morning after being arrested by Centralia Police on a driving under the influence warrant.
