Police Beat for Friday, February 1st, 2013Three people remained in the Marion County Jail Friday on petitions to revoke their probation. 19-year-old Adam Woods of U.S. 51 in Sandoval, 21-year-old Russell Wimberly of Salem, and 26-year-old John Booth of Martin Luther King Drive in Centralia were all taken into custody by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies.
27-year-old Michael Ratts was picked up by Salem Police at the request of his probation officer for failure to register as a sex offender. He also remained in the Marion County Jail on Friday.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary to a semi parked at U.S. 50 in Sandoval sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Donald Pond of South Wood in Odin reported the windows, HD Radio, GPS, Mag Light, Craftsman tools, CB mics, phone charger, phone headset and sun glasses were all stolen.
