Police Beat for February 20th, 2013
A 21-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail for alleged domestic battery, theft and criminal damage to property. Martez Isaiah of Maulding Drive is accused of ripping the pants, breaking the phone, and shoving and choking Rubina Becerra of Maulding Drive in an incident on Tuesday. He was also arrested in connection with the theft of a bank card from Milia Jones last December.47-year-old Gregory McCray of Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged criminal trespass and criminal damage to property. McCray is accused of damaging a door at the Bell Tower Inn and going on the property of the Centralia Motel where he had earlier been banned.
Salem Police arrested 39-year-old Mark Essary of North Jefferson in Salem for alleged domestic battery. He is accused of striking his brother Davion Isaaks at their home Tuesday night.
41-year-old Richard Murphy of North Cherry in Centralia remained in jail Tuesday on an outstanding felony warrant.
Two others posted bond on outstanding warrants and were released. 36-year-old Curtis Scott of Sanders Street in Centralia turned himself in on outstanding ordinance violation and traffic warrants. 27-year-old Curtis Ferrell of West Warmoth in Salem was arrested by sheriff's deputies on an outstanding DUI warrant.
