Peoples National Bank to Open Second Branch in Centralia This Summer

Peoples National Bank has announced they will be opening a second branch in Centralia this summer.  The new branch will be located at the former Bank of America building located at 901 West Broadway.  It will be remodeled with an updated drive-up with wider lanes and a new ATM location.  The interior of the building will be updated with new offices and a new appearance.  

Officials say last year the bank added 463 new checking accounts in Centralia and was number-one in deposit market share for Centralia and Marion County.  The bank had $143 million in deposits in Marion County alone last year.  With the addition of the new branch in Centralia, Peoples National Bank has twenty locations throughout Southern Illinois and the St. Louis Metro area.
