Patoka Man Injured in Centralia Rear-End Accident

By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

A Patoka resident was injured in a two vehicle crash on the west side of Centralia Wednesday morning.

Centralia Police say Dusty Gambill of South Poplar in Patoka was struck in the rear after stopping to turn into an alley in the 11-hundred block of West McCord.  The driver of the other car, Arizona Berning of South Commercial in Central City, said she had looked into her rear view mirror and didn't see Gambill stopping.

Gambill was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia for treatment.  Berning escaped injury.  She was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device.
