Odin Man Charged With Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse

A 21-year-old Odin man has been charged in Marion County Court with aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Bond for Brock Powell of South Woods was set at $25,000. He is accused of committing a sexual act with a girl between the ages of 13 and 17 years of age. Powell was taken into custody by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies after allegedly admitting to having consensual sex with a 16-year-old Odin girl. The public defender was appointed to represent him.
