No Injuries in Kell Accident Saturday Night

The Illinois State Police handled a one-vehicle accident near Kell Saturday night.  The accident occurred at Illinois Route 37 and Kell Road.  

18-year-old Dakota Olson of Centralia was traveling southbound on Route 37 near Kell Road when he ran off the road due to an unspecified mechanical problem.  He then struck a ditch.  Olson and his passenger, 17-year-old Jonathan Shaw of Mount Vernon, were not injured, but were transported to a local area hospital as a precaution.

Olson was cited for improper lane usage and for driving without proof of insurance.  The wreck occurred at 10:07 Saturday night.
