New Marion County Court Cases for Tuesday, January 8th, 2013Bond has been set at $25,000 for a 34-year-old Brownstown woman arrested for multiple drug charges following a traffic stop. Amanda White was arrested by Central City Police Monday night for possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth precursors, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Central City Police Chief Mike Berger reports a coffee filter was found in White's car that tested positive for meth. In addition, pill packs and Coleman fuel was recovered along with an ink pen converted to ingest drugs. Court date is set for January 29th at 10:30 a.m.
Bond has been set at $10,000 for an Odin woman arrested Monday afternoon for retail theft. Melinda Shumaker was arrested by Salem Police Monday afternoon for trying to steal toiletries, towels and candy. Court appearance is scheduled for January 29th at 11 a.m.
