Mt. Vernon Garage Destroyed by Fire Tuesday Morning

A Mt. Vernon garage was destroyed by fire early Tuesday morning.  The fire broke out on the Jason Kuhn property at 2220 Cherry Street southeast of downtown.  No one was injured in the early morning blaze.  Two cars that were inside the garage were destroyed.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  The fire call came in at 6:54 Tuesday morning.
