Minor Injuries in Two Vehicle Crash on Route 161 Monday

A 49-year-old Salem woman complained of minor injuries following a two vehicle crash Monday morning at State Route 161 and Zion Hill Road east of Centralia.  Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Karla Marion of West Bryan Street was traveling westbound on Route 161 when traffic in front of her abruptly slowed down.  She crashed into a car in front of her driven by 59-year-old Cindy Weatherford of North Miller Lake Lane in Texico.  Marion complained of minor injuries, but did not require hospitalization.  She was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.  Weatherford was not injured.  The wreck occurred at ten Monday morning.
