Marion County Write In Election Results Released
In one case, a write in candidate beat the only candidate on the ballot. That was in Walnut Hill, where Christina Wilson garnered 25 write-in votes to defeat Melissa Donoho, who was the only candidate listed on the ballot. She received only 15 votes. A second write-in candidate for clerk, Beau Meyer, didn't get any votes.
In Iuka, there was no candidate on the ballot for clerk. Jack Grossman appears to have been elected after receiving 34 write in votes.
