Marion County Jail Administrator ResignsMarion County Jail Administrator Jeff White has resigned.
Sheriff Jerry DeVore says White turned in the resignation Wednesday morning. Until a replacement is named, DeVore and Sheriff's Lieutenant Andy Garden will split the duties of the jail administrator. Those duties include handling inmate complaints, correctional officer grievances, scheduling, and processing bills for payment.
White had been jail administrator since December 2011.
