Marion County Coroner-Elect Hires Two New Deputy CoronersMarion County will have two new deputy coroners beginning this weekend. Coroner-elect Troy Cannon has announced that Doug Krutsinger of Centralia and Claude Howell of Odin have named to fill two pending Deputy Coroner vacancies. Cannon says they received over thirty-applications for the two positions.
Krutsinger is a retired Illinois State Police investigator and Centralia City Councilman. Howell brings many years of fire service experience and arson investigations, as well as many years as a local pastor. Cannon says Krutsinger and Howell bring many years of experience and knowledge to the office. Krutsinger and Howell will begin their duties on Saturday and be sworn in on Monday, December 3rd.
