Kell Man Arrested Following Foot Chase With Police

A 22-year-old Kell man has been arrested by Salem Police for alleged resisting a peace officer and criminal damage to property. 

Joshua Wesselman of Foxville Road is accused of breaking a window out of the home of his ex-girlfriend, Christina Thomason, who resides on North Ternary Street.  Police say Wesselman allegedly took off running when Salem Police and a Marion County Sheriff's Deputy arrived on the scene.   He was chased on foot to near the North Seneff and Jackson Street intersection where he was taken into custody without further incident.

Wesselman remained in the Marion County Jail on Sunday.
