Kaskaskia College to Hold Holiday Concert December 4th

The Kaskaskia College Music Department will present their annual Holiday Instrumental Concert next month.  The concert will take place on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:30 p.m. in the Jane Knight Auditorium.  The Concert is free and open to the public. A reception for performers and patrons will follow the concert.

The concert will feature the Kaskaskia College Concert and Jazz Bands under the direction of Professor Cliff Jourdan.  Concert Band Highlights include The "Jubellation", "Joy", and "Overture to a Winter Celebration".  In addition, the concert band will perform "When Angels Weep" by David Shaffer and Ryan Main's "Clash".  Jazz Band Highlights includes "Clearwater", "Brush Strokes" and "Girl Talk".
