Kaskaskia College Announces Betty Thomas Annual Scholarship
Kaskaskia College has announced a new scholarship for students. The Betty Thomas Annual Scholarship is for $1,000 and will be credited to the recipient's account at KC to be used for tuition, books and or fees. The scholarship will be available for ten consecutive years. Acknowledgement must be made from the recipients to the Thomas family. Applicants must complete the year of study for which the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship was established in Betty's name by her husband Herschel and daughter Liz Wade. Thomas worked for Kaskaskia College for eight years and loves education. Her husband said it was the perfect gift for their 66th wedding anniversary.See other LocalNews news:
