Kaskaskia College Adult Education and Literacy to Provide Transportation Services in Centralia
Kaskaskia College has announced that the Kaskaskia College Adult Education and Literacy (KC-AEL) Department will be providing transportation services in Centralia beginning next week. Starting on Wednesday, February 20th, transportation services will be available from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Transportation services are free and available to any adult learner that resides in Centralia or within seven miles of the city limits of Centralia. To be eligible for services, an adult learner must seek enrollment in a GED class in Centralia or the BCMW Family Success Program, or obtain literacy services from "The Reading Link" Program during the hours and days in which transportation services are available.
Eligible applicants will be picked up at their residence and returned upon the conclusion of their scheduled services. For more information about this service, please contact the KC-AEL Department at 545-3115.
