Indiana Man Injured In Wreck on Soper Road in rural Odin

A 26-year-old Fort Wayne, Indiana man was injured when his car was run off the road when meeting another vehicle at the crest of a hill on Soper Road in rural Odin late Saturday morning.

Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Robert Tate was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia for treatment.  Deputies say Tate was eastbound on the Soper Road just west of Hoots Chapel Road when he ran off the road, crossed the roadside ditch and struck the embankment.  The driver of the other vehicle did not stop.

Five passengers in the Tate vehicle did not require hospital treatment.  They were 24-year-old Christopher Tate of Oakley, 24-year-old Lindsey Tate, 4-year-old Jarrad Tate, 3-year-old Brayden Tate, and 2-month old Cadence Tate.

The wreck occurred at 11:11 Saturday morning.
