Horse-Car Accident Injures OneMarion County Sheriff's Deputies say a 38-year-old Odin man escaped injury when his car collided with a horse on U.S. 51 about a half mile north of Sandoval Tuesday morning.
The horse reportedly ran out of the ditch into the road in front of the car driven by Troy Norman of Seven Hills Road. The horse was killed in the accident and heavy damage was reported to the front of Norman's car. The wreck occurred at 5:30 Tuesday morning.
Deputies say at least one other horse is still running loose in the same area. The sheriff's department is still trying to find its owner. If you think the horses may be your's or you know who they belong to you are asked to contact the sheriff's department at 548-21-41.
