Homecoming Planned For Patoka Soldier

By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

The Patoka community welcomes home Army Staff Sergeant Jace Myers on Sunday. Myers returned to his base in North Carolina recently after completing his third tour of duty overseas and is getting to return home to spend some time with his family over the holidays. Myers completed one of his tours of duty in Iraq and two in Afghanistan.

The welcome home parade will begin at 11:45 Sunday morning near the Patoka Fire Station and will go past all the churches, community housing, down Oak Street and to the American Legion for a light lunch and open house that continues until one Sunday afternoon.
