Healthcare Foundation to Host Silver Anniversary Ball February 23rd

The Healthcare Foundation, which serves Marion, Clinton, and Jefferson counties, will be holding their silver anniversary ball on Saturday, February 23rd at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Ballroom in Mt. Vernon.  

The event will include a chocolate contest, silent and oral auction, dinner and dance.  The band "Smash" from St. Louis will be performing.  The chocolate contest will be held at noon, with deserts being refrigerated and served as an elegant buffet after dinner. Contestants needing to enter the contest can call 523-6550 or 526-0080.  

Tickets are $75 per person.  Proceeds from the event go to help people with various medical assistance.  This includes transportation, medical equipment and supplies, and other needs.  If you are interested in attending, you must RSVP.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  Call 526-0080 for tickets and more information.
