Marion County Court News for Wednesday, November 21st, 2012A 20-year-old Salem man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Shawn Hudson of South Rotan Street admitted committing a non-forceable sex act with a 13-year-old girl in June. He was placed on four years probation, ordered to pay court costs, complete sex offender treatment, and have no contact with anyone under the age of 18 except his son.
A 25-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty to burglary to a building owned by the Centralia Sentinel. Paxton Price of West 14th Street was placed on four years probation and ordered to pay court costs. He was arrested after taking a bike and backpack owned by Sentinel employee Michael Beal of South Hickory Street in Centralia while it was in the newspaper's warehouse.
