Grass Fire in Jefferson County Friday Afternoon

A small grass fire was reported southwest of Boyd in Jefferson County Friday afternoon.  The fire broke out at 18768 Copple Lane.  Jefferson Fire officials report it was a rubbish and grass fire, with no structures being threatened.  No injuries were reported.  The fire call came in at 3:17 Friday afternoon.
