The Gateway Regional Water Company will begin to switch back from Free Chlorine to Mono Chloramines as their predominant water disinfectant.  The transition will be completed in about a week.  The water company switched to free chlorines late last year to begin a disinfection process.  Customers with health issues should contact their physicians with any health related questions.

The Gateway Water Company provides water to the Village of Alma, Clay County Water, City of Flora, FMC Water Company, Village of Iuka, Northeast Marion County Water Company, Village of Patoka, Raccoon Water Company, Village of Vernon, Western Wayne County and the Village of Xenia.   If you have any questions you should contact your water supply company.
