Four Enter Guilty Pleas In Marion County CourtTwo people have pleaded guilty to battery charges in Marion County Court. 22-year-old Lawrence Cooper of Robinett Street in Centralia admitted striking Kim Jones in the head. He was placed on 18 months conditional discharge, fined $100 and costs, ordered to undergo anger management, and serve ten days in jail. The charge was reduced from domestic battery. 24-year-old Travis Timmons of East 12th in Junction City was placed on one year non-reporting court supervision and ordered to pay court costs after pleading guilty to grabbing Marie Melton by the arm with his hands.
56-year-old Martin Shadwell of South Second in Effingham was fined $750 and costs after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
56-year-old Kevin Sanders of Farthing Road in Odin was fined $25 and costs after pleading guilty to a deceptive practice charge.
A domestic battery charge was dropped against 38-year-old Kelly Lenzini of North Elm in Centralia.
