Five Injured In Accident at 12th and Sycamore in CentraliaCentralia Police say five people were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia following a two car wreck at 12th and Sycamore in Centralia on Friday afternoon.
Police report a southbound car on Sycamore driven by 63-year-old Carolyn Martin of North Beech in Centralia and a westbound car on 12th Street driven by 67-year-old Linda Standley of North Vine in Sandoval collided in the intersection. There are no stop or yield signs.
Both drivers were injured. One passenger in the Martin car, 13-year-old Emily Davis of North Beech, went to the hospital. Three passengers in the Standley car, 13-year-old Dale Standley, 35-year-old Shelly Hancock, and 9-year-old Piper Hancock, all of the same address were also transported to the hospital.
No tickets were issued since there was no yield or stop signs at the intersection.
