Fairfield Man Pleads Guilty to Firearm Charges

A Fairfield man has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to being a felon in possession of a firearm.  58-year-old Michael D. McCullough allegedly was found in possession of two firearms, a Smith and Wesson .357 caliber revolver and a Freedom Arms .22 caliber revolver on August 28th, 2011.  He was previously convicted of two felony offenses in Wayne County Circuit Court.  McCullough is facing up to ten years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three-years of supervised release.  Sentencing is scheduled for January 2nd, 2013.
