FBI Reconstructs Facial Approximation of Body Found in Jasper CountyThe FBI has completed a facial approximation of how an unidentified man found dead in rural Newton in Jasper County may have looked when alive. The body was found on March 10th of last year and efforts so far to identify him have not been successful.
State Police believe the individual could be Caucasian, Asian, Native American or Hispanic/Latino. He is believed to be 35 to 50 years of age and approximately five foot three to five foot eight inches tall. The FBI facial approximation specialists were asked to conduct the analysis because of the poor condition of the skeletal remains.
State Police emphasize the sketches are only an approximation and should not be used in the same way as a photograph. Anyone with information is asked to contact Illinois State Police Lieutenant Kelly Hodge at 217-342-2292 extension 201 or Sergeant Albert Gallatin at extension 207.
