East St. Louis Most Dangerous City In Nation

East St. Louis, IL -- East St. Louis is the most dangerous city in the nation. That's according to a recently released survey from NeighborhoodScout.com, which ranked the metro-east city as number one for the second year in a row. The results were based on the number of violent crimes reported to the FBI per one-thousand people in cities with a population of 25-thousand or more. Several other Illinois towns made the list including Harvey at number 15, Rockford at number 32, Carbondale at number 64, Springfield at 65, and Chicago at number 79.
