By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

A 54-year-old Clay City man was injured in a single vehicle crash on Main Street in Clay City late Thursday night.

State Police say Michels Wilbor of Clay City was southbound on Main Street south of Mead Street when he ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected to the right and then ran off the left side of the road into the roadside ditch and overturned.  The SUV came to rest on its wheels.

Wilbor was thrown from the vehicle.  He was taken to the Clay County Hospital in Flora and then transferred to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Wilbor was ticketed for driving under the influence, improper lane usage, no seatbelt, and no insurance.  The wreck occurred at 10:25 Thursday night.
