Centralia Woman Injured in Selmaville Road Crash

By WJBD News

A 29-year-old Centralia woman was injured in a one vehicle crash on the Selmaville Road a half mile north of the Lazy Acre Road southwest of Salem late Thursday night.  Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Rebecca Wilkins of East Third apparently blacked out and didn't know what happened to cause the crash.  Wilkins car ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, came back onto the pavement, went out of control, and ran off the left side of the road where it hit the ditch and struck a pole before coming to a stop.  Wilkins was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.  The wreck occurred at 10:47 Thursday night.
