Centralia Woman Hurt in One Car WreckA 57-year-old Centralia woman was injured in a single vehicle accident in the 800 block of East McCord Street in Centralia Monday morning.
Centralia Police say Connie Hull of West 16th was westbound on McCord when she became distracted by a piece of paper blowing around inside her vehicle. Her car ran off the left side of the road and struck a concrete light pole. The light pole broke at the base and fell across both westbound lanes of traffic. Hull was trapped in her vehicle and had to be freed by Centralia City Firemen. She was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of injuries. Hull was ticketed for improper lane usage.
The wreck occurred at 10:15 Monday morning. Westbound traffic on McCord was blocked until the wreckage could be removed.
