Centralia Woman Hurt In One Car Crash

A 33-year-old Centralia woman was injured when her steering apparently failed when she was making a turn from North Walnut onto East Noleman in Centralia early Wednesday afternoon.

Centralia Police say Erisha Howard of North Walnut reported the steering failed and locked up when she tried to straighten out the wheels.  Her car then struck the guardrail near the intersection before coming to a stop.

Howard was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of injuries.
