Centralia Woman Arrested for DUI Thursday Morning
Centralia Police say a 50-year-old Centralia woman apparently went on a wild ride Thursday morning before eventually being stopped by police and arrested for alleged driving under the influence. Tina Burton of South Marion Street was later released after posting bond. The Marion County Sheriff's Department received the first complaint about an erratic driver near the Walnut Hill and Perrine Street Road. Police later found debris on Airport Road where Burton's car apparently ran off the road into a ditch. She is also believed to have hit a stop sign on Calumet Street. Burton was eventually stopped near her home at 12th and Marion Streets. Police say Burton's car was damaged and was towed from the scene.See other LocalNews news:
