The Marion County Sheriff's Department received the first complaint about an erratic driver near the Walnut Hill and Perrine Street Road. Police later found debris on Airport Road where Burton's car apparently ran off the road into a ditch. She is also believed to have hit a stop sign on Calumet Street. Burton was eventually stopped near her home at 12th and Marion Streets. Police say Burton's car was damaged and was towed from the scene.
