Centralia Woman Arrested For Possession Of Heroin As Another Is Being Treated for an OverdoseA 29-year-old Centralia woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and obstructing justice after police seized heroin in her possession.
The incident occurred Thursday night while Linzie Pracht of West 17th Street was on the C-V-S Parking lot in Centralia. Centralia Police and Fire had been called to the location when a person with Pracht overdosed on heroin and had collapsed unconscious onto the parking lot. Police had noticed Pracht had a piece of paper in her possession and grabbed it when she put it in her hand when pulling out her cigarettes. It reportedly field tested positive for heroin.
Pracht is also accused of emptying out evidence of drug usage from a van that had brought them to Centralia to buy drugs. Some used needles were reportedly recovered from a trash can outside the CVS store.
Centralia Fire Officials say they were able to restore breathing of the overdose victim who was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia for treatment.
