Centralia Mobile Home Destroyed by Fire Wednesday
An unoccupied mobile home was destroyed and an adjoining house was damaged by fire Wednesday night. Centralia City Firemen say the vacant trailer at 826 East Howard was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival just before ten pm. The fire was so hot, the radiant heat caused damage to one side of the adjoining vacant home at 824 East Howard. Both the home and mobile home are owned by T.J. Howard. The cause has not been determined. Damage to the mobile home is estimated at $10,000. One additional shift of firemen were called in to help fight the fire.
