Centralia Man Injured in Motorcycle-Car Accident

Centralia Police say one person was injured when a motorcycle crashed to avoid a  car that turned in front of it on East McCord at Belair Drive on the city's eastside late Wednesday afternoon.

Reports indicate a car driven by 81-year-old Dorothy Murray of Belair Drive in Centralia made a left hand turn from McCord into Belair Drive in front of a westbound motorcycle on McCord driven by 32-year-old Neil Miller of West 17th Street in Centralia.  Miller hit the brakes and started skidding.  The cycle slid to the ground on its side and never came in contact with Murray's car.

Miller was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of injuries.   The accident occurred at 4:05 Wednesday afternoon.
