Centralia Man Faces Multiple Charges Following Series Of Incidents Starting Last MayA 43-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail on stalking, domestic battery, battery, and burglary charges.
Centralia Police arrested Jarid Moore of North Locust on the charges Monday night for a series of incidents that date back to May of last year. Moore is accused of attacking a former girlfriend in her car last May. He's then accused of gaining entry to the home of another woman last November, grabbing her by the arm when she was at the Eastside McDonald's last month and calling, harassing, and threatening her on Monday.
Moore reportedly called while police were at the woman's home taking her complaint. He later reportedly called police before his arrest to ask if they had been contacted by the woman.
In the early November burglary, police say the woman confronted Moore after he got into her home. Moore reportedly threatened to come back and burn the house down.
