Centralia Home, Garden and Business Expo Concludes on Sunday
Hundreds of people stopped by the Centralia Recreation Complex on Saturday for the 9th Annual Home, Garden & Business Expo.
The annual event is sponsored by the Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Executive Director Bob Kelsheimer says the fifty vendors and exhibitors were happy with the day's events. "Literally, you can build a house from the ground up and you can furnish it. Even if you're not building a home, but you're looking to remodel or renovate, it's really all here," Kelsheimer said.
The Home Show continues Sunday at the Recreation Center from 11 AM to 4 PM. Kelsheimer says the one-dollar admission price is more than made up by the free giveaways and prize drawings. Sunday's schedule also includes two free demonstrations. At 1:00, Nancy James will present easy crock pot meals featuring several free samples. Master Gardener Ernie Henson will present "Four Season Composting" at 2:00.
