Centralia Caretaker Charged With Felony Criminal Abuse

The Illinois Attorney General's office has filed a felony criminal abuse or neglect charge against a personal care worker from Centralia.  

Dylan Altom of North Walnut is accused of forcefully poking an elderly person or person with disability in the forehead with his fingers, repeatedly placing his hand over the woman's mouth, repeatedly spraying water in her face and shaking his fist at the woman.  

Altom has been given a notice to appear in Marion County Court on the charge for August 6th.
