Centralia Balloon Fest Donates $7,500 to Foundation Park for Park Improvements
The Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of Balloon Fest, recently made a donation to the Centralia Foundation for park improvements. A donation in the amount of $7,500 was presented to the Centralia Foundation that will be used to improve parks around the city. The donation was presented to Foundation Board member Verle Besant at the Chamber's monthly board meeting Tuesday. Centralia Balloon Fest contributes annually to the Foundation Park system. Balloon Fest celebrated its 23rd Anniversary in 2012. The 24th Annual Balloon Fest is scheduled for August 16th, 17th & 18th, 2013.
