Broadway Invasion to Be Performed Again on May 11thAn Encore Performance has been set for the sold-out Broadway Invasion show held at the Salem Community Theatre last Saturday. The second show will be held on Saturday, May 11th, at 7:30 pm at the Salem Theatre. Proceeds will benefit the Greater Salem Area Foundation.
The concert features pop music from the past 50 years performed by 14 area musicians and eight vocalists, several of whom travel in from other cities to perform. The Encore Performance will be different from the Salem Comunity Theatre Benefit in that the Theatre Benefit included free alcoholic beverages and a large spread of food. The event will simply be the great music and one short intermission at a reduced admission price. Soft drinks and snack foods will be offered.
Tickets are $15.00 in advance and at the door, but the producers wish to remind you that the April 27th show sold out during advance sales and there was a waiting list for cancellations.
Tickets are now on sale at Raymond James, the Salem Times-Commoner, U.S. Sonet, Salem IGA Plus, Salem City Hall, Salem Chamber of Commerce, Salem Travel, Office Products Center, Marion County Savings Bank and Peoples Bank.
The event, produced by the Invaders, is sponsored by Raymond James Financial, the Salem Times-Commoner and U.S. Sonet.
