Area Police Departments Investigate Burglaries and Thefts

Sandoval Police are investigating a residential burglary. Matthew Green of West Indiana Street reported coming home around 8:45 Thursday night to find his home had been entered. A 60 inch LG Plasma Flat Screen TV was stolen. Entry was gained through a side window. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Sandoval Police.

Salem Police are investigating a motor vehicle burglary and felony theft. Gary Waggoner of Bryan Street in Salem reported his car was entered while parked at the Salem Country Club on Wednesday and a .357 magnum pistol was stolen.

Kim Hodge of Norton Road in rural Odin reported to the Marion County Sheriff's Department that two four wheelers had been stolen from her barn.

A rural Kell woman, Rebecca Shoemaker of County Farm Road, reported criminal damage to her vehicle. She said window chalk had run down the side of her vehicle turning it pink, scratches down the side of the car, and some lugnuts missing.
