Annual Odin Township Cleanup Is Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The Annual Odin Township Clean-Up is set for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  

The township will provide two dumpsters west of the Odin School student parking lot.  The Illinois EPA is providing four dumpster to be placed at Royal Lakes for residents of Royal Lakes residents only.  Items can be dropped off at the dumpsters from nine to six Friday, eight to three on Saturday and eight to noon on Sunday.  

Odin Township and Royal Lakes residents can dispose of items not normally picked up by your local trash collector including box springs, furniture, mattresses, household garbage, and demolition debris.  TV's and other electronics, tires, business waste, hazardous waste or landscape waste will not be accepted.  

Odin Township will be monitoring the dumpsters west of the Odin School student parking lot.  The EPA will monitor the dumpsters at Royal Lakes.  

Odin Township will have a truck and employees available to pick up trash placed by the road on Friday and Saturday from eight to five.  All items that can be lifted by no more than two people can be picked up.  Employees will not be allowed to enter any homes or buildings.
