By Metro Source

Peoria, IL -- Ameren customers, lookout for scammers trying to steal your identity. Some customers have complained that people are showing up to their homes posing as Ameren repair workers and asking for personal information. And, never let anyone in your home who wants to check your electrical wiring, natural gas pipes or appliances unless you have scheduled an appointment, reported a natural gas leak, and the person has proper identification.
