2013 Baby New Year Announced from St. Mary's and Good Samaritan HospitalsThe first baby of the New Year has been born at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. Michael Austin Roy George was born at 12:35 Wednesday morning. The parents are Nada and Kris George of Centralia. The baby weighed in at seven-pounds and zero-ounces. Michael was 20 and a half inches long. Michael has three older siblings: Luke, Dax and Kharma. The new parents were presented a $100 check from the President of the Auxiliary.
The first baby of the New Year has been born at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Zoey Honey Renee Greenwood was born at 7:55 Wednesday morning. The parents are Mary Jo Letke and Jerry Greenwood of Iuka. She has nine older siblings, which include Ashley Greenwood, Jerry Greenwood, Jesse Greenwood, Tavis Greenwood, Rachel Greenwood, Tuff Greenwood and Summer Greenwood, Sami Letke and Lalah Ervin.
