Miley Cyrus Mourns Passing of Favorite Dog Lila
(NEW YORK) -- Miley Cyrus took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the passing of one of her pet pooches.
The singer and actress wrote, “For everyone asking…I have never been so hurt in all my life.”
She added, “My heart has never been so broken…Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away.”
Cyrus has a number of rescue dogs with fiancé Laim Hemsworth, including Ziggy, Floyd, Mary Jane and Happy.
Still coming to terms with her grief, the 20-year-old tweeted again, “Broken. Gonna go MIA for a bit. Need some healing time. Thank you to everyone who has sent love my way. I need it.”
Lila had been a family pet since 2011.
