Mickey Rourke Is Not Dead
(NEW YORK) -- Yet another celebrity has become a victim of a death hoax. This time, actor Mickey Rourke was supposed to have met his demise in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.
Rourke's agent, David Unger tells the New York Post the actor is “very touched by the outpouring of concern, and is alive and well in Beverly Hills."
Unger tells the newspaper, "I have been getting condolence calls from all over the world. But I can confirm Mickey is very alive."
In addition to working on the Sin City sequel and A Dame to Kill For, Rourke has just finished filming Dead in Tombstone, in which he is cast as Satan.
Sylvester Stallone, Jim Carrey and Christian Slater have also been victims of death hoaxes. All of them supposedly “died” in snowboarding accidents.
