La Toya Jackson Denies Reports She's Married
(LOS ANGELES) -- After many media outlets reported that La Toya Jackson had wed her longtime business partner Jeffre Phillips, the reality star has decided to set the record straight.
"The rumors that La Toya Jackson married her longtime business partner Jeffre Phillips are completely false," Jackson's rep said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. "The reporting outlet should be embarrassed for their mistake and at least make an effort to find facts to back up their story before reporting."
Reportedly, Jackson, 57, married Phillips on Friday in Los Angeles. Reports claimed the singer's mother Katherine and nephew Prince Michael, son of the late Michael Jackson, had attended the nuptials.
La Toya Jackson and Phillips, who co-founded the entertainment production company Ja-Tail Enterprises, are set to star in a second season of Life with La Toya on OWN. There's no word on when the new season will premiere.
