George Clooney and His Fiancée Obtain a Marriage License
(LONDON) -- George Clooney and his fiancée's wedding appears to be on the horizon. The Oscar winner and Amal Alamuddin have obtained a marriage license in London, according to People magazine.
As seen in a photo on Dlisted.com, a notice has been posted outside Chelsea Old Town Hall, stating that the actor and the British-Lebanese human rights lawyer will marry in Italy. The public announcement was legally required because Alamuddin is a U.K. citizen.
Clooney, 53, proposed to the 36-year-old Alamuddin in April. It's been rumored for a while that they'll exchange vows in Italy, where he has a villa in Lake Como.
